Terms & License
Last updated: September 2026
Who you are buying from
OneOcean Elements is operated by Oneocean International LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("OneOcean", "we", "us"). You can reach a human at info@oneocean.io.
What you are buying
A one-time license to a collection of visual elements delivered as source code. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. You pay once and keep what you bought, including the elements we add to the collection later.
Twelve elements are free to copy directly from the site with no purchase and no account. The paid collection covers the full catalog: 125 elements as of September 2026.
What "lifetime" means
Two different things last, and they last differently.
Your license is perpetual. Everything delivered to you is yours to keep using under these terms forever. That does not depend on us: it survives if we stop selling the collection, close the product, or stop existing as a company. The code runs on your side and never needs our servers.
Updates last for the lifetime of the product, not of the buyer and not of OneOcean. While the collection is actively maintained, buyers receive what we add to it at no extra cost. Updates are provided at our discretion: we do not promise a schedule, a number of new elements, or that the collection will be maintained for any minimum period. We may stop updating it or discontinue it at any time. If that happens we will say so on this site, your license to everything already delivered stays fully valid, and discontinuation does not entitle you to a refund beyond the 14-day period below.
New collections or separate products we release in the future are not part of this purchase unless we say so at the time.
What the license lets you do
- Use the code in unlimited projects of your own, personal or commercial.
- Use it in projects you build for clients, including paid client work.
- Modify it however you want. You do not owe us attribution.
- Keep using it forever, including after we release updates.
- Reselling or redistributing the code as a library, template, kit, theme, component pack or asset — free or paid.
- Sharing your copy with people outside your company, or publishing it publicly (including in a public repository).
- Using it to build a product whose main value is the collection itself — that competes with us instead of using us.
Short version: build whatever you want with it, for yourself or for clients. Just do not turn around and sell the collection.
The fingerprint in your copy
Every delivery is stamped with the buyer's name and a unique identifier, both visible in the file header and embedded invisibly in the code. We do this for one boring reason: if a copy appears resold or published, we can tell which purchase it came from. It does not phone home, track your usage, or affect how the code runs. You are free to delete the visible header in your own projects.
Delivery
Delivery is by email, to the address you paid with. It is automated: once Stripe confirms the payment, your package is built, stamped with your license and sent, usually within minutes and in any case within 12 hours. Check your spam folder first; if 12 hours pass and nothing arrived, email us and we will resolve it that day. Your payment is on record with Stripe, so there is no scenario where you pay and lose access.
Refunds
We offer a 14-day refund, no questions asked. The full policy is on the refunds page.
Prices and taxes
Prices are shown in US dollars. Depending on where you are, your local sales tax, VAT or GST may be added at checkout and shown before you confirm payment. Launch pricing is temporary and we may change prices at any time — the price you paid is the price you paid, and a later increase never affects a purchase you already made.
What we do not promise
The code is provided as is. We built it for our own client work and it runs in production on real sites, but we cannot guarantee it fits your specific case, works with every framework or browser, or is free of defects. To the maximum extent the law allows, OneOcean's total liability for any claim related to the collection is limited to what you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or business interruption, even if we were told they were possible.
We are a small team. There is no support SLA on the collection — we answer email because we want to, not because we contracted to. If something is broken, tell us and we will usually fix it.
If the business changes hands, or something is out of our hands
If OneOcean is sold, merged or reorganized, these terms and your license transfer to whoever takes over the collection, and they are bound by them. You may not transfer your license to someone else, except as part of selling your own company.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by things outside our reasonable control: outages at our providers (email, payments, hosting), network failures, natural events, or government action. When the cause passes, we pick up where we left off.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when. A change applies to purchases made after it; it never reduces the license you already bought.
If we disagree
Talk to us first. Email info@oneocean.io and give us 30 days to fix the problem before starting any formal claim. Most things are solved in one reply.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be solved by talking will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless your local consumer protection law gives you the right to bring it where you live. Nothing here removes rights that your local consumer protection law gives you and cannot be waived by contract. If one part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
